New Game's workshop deamon prince

Hi guys.

Im going to bite the bullet and do a proper project log. I collect a nurgle army and instead of the normal bloated necrotic disease ridden skin/armour i want to go on the other side of disease. It also makes you pale, thin ect. Thats what im going for with this. Any suggestions on what base colour to use? Im thinking rotting flesh and build from there.

Im now going away to build the model (after i bath the kids, have dinner watch x fact......... no didnt say that carry on!)

Any suggestions would be great!

F*cks sake man, you haven't learned to lie about your viewing choices yet? You could be off to watch my little pony, but as long as you tell the lads you're off to watch A documentary about combustion engines, boobs and guns, they won't care! If you're reading this, BBC, make this show happen.
Anyway, I digress.

I'd make the base a bit darker than rotting flesh, that alone is a pretty bright colour. Maybe mix it with some purple and leave that base in receses of skin and mix it back up to rotting flesh from there, then add bleached bone to that up to white final highlights? Should give that waxy "Ill" effect. Yeah it'll take a while, but it's a demon prince so it should look cool and be worthy of whittling away more of your precious life.

Sound's good. I think the purple would work well mixed with rotting flesh im going to do that. Iv nearly finnished building it/watching tv with wife! I will get it basecoated and start the skintone in the morning.

A documentary about combustion engines, boobs and guns

"Life and breeding habits of the rednecks"

Do you have the thin-thing as a theme for the entire army? 'Cause the DP is pretty beefed up, and that might look a tad off in that case, although thinning him down might take a whole big bunch o' work.
An anorectic DP would look creepy as hell and probably be real awesome in the end. Depends on the level of conversion you feel you're up to.

.
ahh that would be moonshine as well!

i like the idea of the skinny stuff but would be difficult as mentioned. good stuff if you can do it

bear in mind that skin also gets darker with age (ie once the body has bloated and starts to break down more) so dark skin could work as well

Generally breaks down in patches that turn black before the whole lot turns black eventually, Anywhere where bones are showing or muscle etc, generally any tissue would be dark to black in there too. Bones remain fairly bright during this process.
