New Greens over at Reaper

I noticed that Reaper finally posted some new greens. I got to say that I like them all except the Loremistress and the Imp. I find the Halfling Pirate to be very cool and both of the Bards to be outstanding.

Agreed on the bards; sweet!

I\'m a big fan of hobbitses, but somewhow am not so sure of this one. I mean, a hobbit *brigand*?? It\' just seems so unlikely to me, kinda like a a dwarven acrobat... lol

Ilkhan of Malvernis looks, well, kinda goofy to me, like he\'s posing in a Michael Jackson video or something. (Thriller, anyone?) The absurd weapon in his right hand doesn\'t help.

Speaking of absurd weapons, that imp could *never* hold that thing. Looks like a \"gremlin\" anyhow. For me, no imp can surpass the classic Trampier imp from the original Monster Manual. So smaller ears, smaller weapon, & bigger nose, I say.

Lastly, I think the loremistress is very cool. Miniatures which communicate what they are doing earn bonus points with me, & this one is clearly doing, er... something... magic.... & stuff...:wow:

Werner Klocke is one of my favourite sculptors, and I had the privilege of meeting him at Salute. (Que: Wayne\'s World \"We\'re not Worthy\" moment). A Really Nice guy.

I\'ll buy both bards, and name them Crimson and Clover.

Mr. Klocke does it again, and that halfling buccaneer tickles my pirate bone.

I have noticed a trend at Reaper to re-do old sculpts. They recently added a wolf to an old sculpt, mounted a dwarf on a bear sculpt, and gave an anti-paladin a helmet and cape and re-released them. There\'s nothing wrong with re-doing an old classic, but they shouldn\'t try to pass them off as something new.
