Just want to say a big Hello to everyone and how impressed i am with the site. Just went through 97 pages of posts and was blown away at some of the great tips. Ive had to make a seperate folder in my Favorites for all the great site tips that were in there lol.
Need to rest my eyes after all that reading now, then its time to get the painting kit back now ive been re-inspired

Bit off a little more than you could chew, mastic? ;) Ok, lame pun, but do you think you could get others to do the same, before they ask about NMM, brushes and tweening?

Welcome. I\'ve been here for quite a while now, and the things that people paint, and the techniques they use, still amaze me.

Welcome mastic. I\'m glad your finding the forums here helpful.

As marine boy has mentioned, remember to give yourself time to paint. Well I paint while i read A page of reading for section of a mini, under coated, or highlighted. Finish reading an article, start on the armour. Or try to multi task simultaniously. i\'m not sure if thats recommended by anyone. But it is definatly useful at ripping through core units. Like these thunderers, im painting as i go. ;)

What sorta paint kit do you have?

Mastic, if you find yourself in Manchester, you could always try \"Modelzone\" for Vallejo Model Color. It\'s only a short trip down the M60/62

Yup. Modelzone is in the City Centre on Deansgate. You should be able to find their address on Yell.com. If you need some directions just give us a shout.

welcome!
dont try too much too fast! its tempting, but take it slow and master a few techniques to see real development in your painting.
what do you think you\'ll paint first?

remember that if you ever need help the best resource is the grey stuff in the forum freaks heads (mmmmm brains). just ask and they will provide help, and tasteless sarcasm. ;)
