I like the idea of going back to the old school bloodletter design. I have always thought that the older versions was far more creepy than the muscle bound dudes....even though i suppose muscle is the way to go with Khorne.

The soul grinder looks sweet! in fact all of the demon stuff looks sweet these days.....must stop myself from buying

I had no problem with the muscle on the previous Bloodletters, it was the fact that their codpiece made them nearly as tough as Terminators.

I understand that in battle you have to protect your most valuable assets... but come on let\'s be realistic

true that those two are nice and the slaanesh are just beautiful....but the nurgle havent changed much and i just really dont like them.

Just had my latest edition of scrap paper (White Dwarf) through the door this morning and there is a page with a few pics of the up coming Chaos release, it is not that inspiring compared to the jugeraught and soul grinder.

Uber@ according to the Dwarf it is a May realease for the Chaos stuff both in 40K and WHFB with its own Army Book as well.

I think I prefer this version of the jugernaught as the old one looked a bit cumbersum and chunky in the legs. I like the look of soul grinder but it reminds me a of a demon stuck onto one of the defilers.

The bloodletters and juggernaut is pretty good. The slaanesh and nurgle stuff seems pretty poor, though, from what I\'ve seen. The slaanesh stuff might not be extremely poor, but compared to what the current slaanesh stuff looks like it\'s hardly an improvement.

i\'m quite liking the khornate demon stuff.

that soul grinder is utter shite imo, it\'s the sort of conversion staff members see on a sunday morning done by the newbies.

they should have started from scratch with it instead of making it an add on to the defiler kit.

That tutorial changed my painting considerably, don\'t wanna hijack the thread totally, but I did want to say thanks for sharing it in such detail... so many painters just don\'t take the time to help others reach their standard... so thanks

Oh, and back on topic, yeah, the posters on the stand at GD said May release for the chaos stuff.

The Slanesh daemonettes were quite nice too, lots of very nice detail... but not quite as nice as the detail on the live ones they had walking around

have to agree with you Mike on the paint job....it’s hard to tell where rider and beast start and finish ..also to my eyes the rider is fluid and organic looking while the beast has that mechanical appearance they just don’t match well as a unit.

on the contrary wp, i love it. the lithness of the demon and the solidness of the jugger look great imo. i like the way the demon seems to be being tossed around as well as if they are going at a right gallop! agreed the paintjob isn\'t legendary but it does the job

i\'m with genrulepoleaxe on teh soul grinder though. utter pants. parts of the top half could be used in a cool conversion but as he is, he looks like a dude sitting on a defiler.

I have to say that these will be the first Demon\'s I have ever planned to buy from GW!

Some of the paint jobs at the GD were not done by the GW Studio Painters.

I have had some of the Bloodletters and Daemonettes for a while and they are some of the best plastics I have seen from GW (just can\'t put out anything until the news is out) although some have seen them.

doing one myself fom the metal one though I prefer the size although that head is cool...

In the flesh all these models are a lot lot better ....and the kits are really something else... As for the defiler the Leg parts and the blades need thinning a lot to make that more interesting but the top part is interesting if for no other reason than it doesn\'t seem to fit with anything GW have done before stylewise..looks more mainland europe style.....

Is that crab-mutant cyborg thing just a plastic body added to defiler legs, or is it a smaller version of the defiler? Not massively impressed either way.

The Bloodletter looks as though it wasn\'t sculpted to ride the Jugger. Don\'t like the Jugger\'s front legs either - they\'re like daschund legs!

But other than that.....
