Dear reader,

I would like to introduce myself properly and I think this is the right place to do just that. My name is Robbert Esbach, I live in the Netherlands and I'm 23 years old at the moment.

I started collecting warhammer around the year 2000 and haven't stopped since then. Apart from collecting I give some of the miniatures an actual paintjob.

As I have a short attention span I usually end up with half painted models and conversions, which is too bad. That was one reason to register at Coolminiornot for me: the motivation to get things done. Another is that I would like to say something to you people when you have painted or converted something amazing. The third reason is that I would like to get some feedback on some of my paintjobs and conversions.

All in all: I really hope I can learn a lot from you and perhaps I can teach some of you something in return.

Hi there, Welcome to the awesomeness thats called CMON.
I live in Leiden and come to Utrecht quite often ( subcultures = best mini store in Holland) so maybe we could paint somethime together?

dude, that fact that you asked suggests that you are sensible enough not to step on anyone's toes. tbh we are a pretty easy going lot

be honest with crits and don't say something you wouldn't say to someone face-to-face..

"When you should always..." tips:

You should always address freaks as "Sir" - especially those Lizcam and WiccanPony guys.
You should always lick your brush - before you get paint in it and before you paint the mini and after you paint the mini. The less paint in your brush the better.
You should always come here and get a paint scheme recommendation before you begin painting a new mini.

You should alway take any advice given with a large block of salt.

good to see another dutchie on the forum.. (leiden hier)...

looking around, you'll probably find a lot of usefull stuff floating around the forum.... as well as some not so usefull but more fun stuff...

basicly... anything goes.... as long as it's sincere

Thank you all for welcoming me first off all.

Second of all, Sir Airhead, I would like to paint my Skaven in a regal blue / bleached bone scheme. Is that ok with you Sir? If so I will start a blog for my Skaven army...

Third of all, I wouldn't say that 'awesome' is my middle name, but I will do what I can.
Let's start by painting some awesome mini's then!

Last of all: Where can I find this freakbar of yours Sir airhead? Haven't been there before have I?
