Hi all, newbie to the site here. Having a little trouble setting up my account, homepage, preferences, etc. so posting here out of desperation! Not sure if this is the right place or not but hey...
If anybody can help me set up so I can at least introduce myself and start posting some pix that'd be great.

Welcome! Whats the specific problem you have? Pictures are uploaded for moderation before they actually appear may take a few hours or a day. You can upload directly to cmon or from an URL.

Look forward to seeing the pics.

I dont use the blog feature so i cant help you there, the avatar problem may be due to the size of your picture, I dont think it resizes images - you have to do that yourself before it accepts it.

If you have a photobucket account you can get the" " tags from there and use them to show pictures here on the forums in the "Submissions" section or the Work In Progress section. Everyone here likes a good WIP thread and everyone is helpful and full of advice so you can show pictures straight away. You can post a link in the forums to your personal gallery entries for voting and comments so that when it finally gets moderated we can check it out also. There are ways and means :) Any further problems I suggest you PM Chern Ann - the big boss, he will help you out for sure.

I heartily agree with DFB. I use Photobucket to host all my WIPs and random pics. That way A) I don't have to wait on approval and B) I don't clutter up my gallery on CMON with half done projects.
