I\'m being both honest and controversial at the same time.
I both like it ,and dislike it at the same time.
I admire and respect the skill that has gone into the sculpting and painting but I think that the face is too \"Anime\" in style and the waist is too \"Rackham\".
The paintwork is very smooth and clean perhaps too clean for the character, but hey that\'s just my opinion.
I\'ve seen JohnnyKS\'s posts in the past and the GD winner (Australian?) I thought was exceptional work. But again I didn\'t like it 100%.
However I\'ve voted this according to the merit of the Piece and the skill of the Artist. So yes it got a 9 from me.

Same with music...you can be sick to death of a record they keep playing on the radio and then discover that it isn\'t even released yet!
I gave it full marks, but then again, I love all his work and tend to favour \"Rackham waists\".

Well the sculpt is a little (ok a lot) quirky but that doesnt stop this being a very cool mini.
I think the reds are superb and the nmm very nice.
Nice to see another of the greats back.
Its also very possible that he got this mini early,Ive just recieved a pre production Alice from Sally at Hasslefree.Hmmmm I think I will go do some painting for once

hummmm although I agree to this, why being too anime or too rackham is a negative point????
Speaking for myself, not Mike, I\'d say its more a question of taste. Not everybody likes anime and not everybody likes Rackham-style sculpts. I really aml not fond of the Fionna\'s and this is rather remaniscent of them. However, in this case, I think the sculpt really works and, it amost goes without saying, JohnnyKS has done an incredible job on it. Gave him a 10 - just an amazing job.
