Jakob is one of my favourite painters, it\'ll be an honour to paint one of his miniatures!! :D I\'m loving that Ork. When I\'m in the money, expect an order from me :D

I think hubby would really like that orc. A little something different for his stocking, maybe.

I remember seeing the women before. Despite fairly static poses, I really like the ninja and the orc. In fact I think the orc’s face and style is one of the best around.

I like the \"pickelhaube\" helmet on the orc. he\'s neat. The sci-fi chick with the teddy bear is interesting, I can think of a good conversion idea already (except I can\'t sculpt).

go jakob ..I\'m sure we will see some great minis as he develops this side of things..
He has good relations with GW but I would have thought that orc may be cutting a little close to the IP bone???
Still best of luck and another place for me to spend money..

Greetings!
And thanks for the honest input from all.

Yes, these first figures are quite static, but personally I actually like static figures and the whole \"runic miiniatures\"-project is about doing (and developing) my own style and sculpting things that I would love to paint myself. That said, I do have a few figures with more movement up my sleve and off course there will be more.

@ demonherald: I never considered the orc to be similar to GW\'s orcs. Strange, but maybe having been painting mainly GW-figures for over 10 years makes an impression after all. However, I don\'t think that we have seen stuff close to this for at least 8 or 10 years... Hmmm :)
