New Minis

i posted a couple of new minis and need some comments if ya got any. #33298 and # 33299 One is my first attempt at painting a reaper mini. tried to do come blending on the cloak. the other is my ork loota (scout) with ghilli(spelling?) suit. any and all comments are welcome. thanks everyone.

the templar is well painted, but i don\'t care too much for the mini. I think you could maybe do more with the banner, but Maybe you\'re not ready to do some more complicated stuff yet.

The ork is a nice idea, but he looks kinda....grundgy. It seems there\'s a layer of dust, and you haven\'t highlighted at all, and it\'s too dark to see what you\'ve done with a lot of the detail.

im trying to get the right lighting for my pics but need another lamp. ive been trying with one and you see the results. all in all thanks for the comments they are appreciated.

You\'ve got some basic highlighting going on, you just need to take it further, ie lighten the colour more and add more highlights.
Try watering your paints a bit more it looks like they are a little thick, and for the drybrushing it looks like you need to water the paint a little as well and wipe more off before starting. You won\'t notice as much effect straight off, but if you keep brushing the colour will appear.
