New ork arms on old orks

I have a couple of orks from the 90s that need new arms. my question is, can I use ork arms from the \'new\' box on them? Do they fit? Are they too big?

No! If you do they will explode and all your paints will dry out.

dont have any old orks and new arms here but i have seen it before and it looked ok.
