yup, very very cool.

One suggestion for the site -- I think you need a page that introduces yourself! (A tag under \"About\" labelled \"Me\" would work.)

nice tutes, liked the paper plant idea, I\'ve used paper for other things just never thought of using it for plants..do\'oh!
I find that spraying the paper on both sides with varnish (doesn\'t matter which they all dry pretty much the same on paper) gives a better surface to paint on

Thanks for the kind words. :)

Sooner or later, I\'ll put up a proper \"me\" section. I also want to add an RSS section for news updates (mostly out of curiousity about how it works). :)

Really cool. The bamboo idea is amazing. I\'ll definitely try some of these techniques - I really enjoy basing, and this has given me loads of new ideas!

Thanks a lot Kep, for a great tutorial

Great tutorial! I\'m ready to do some basing now. There are some incredibly helpful ideas here. I like the pin mushrooms, that saves a bit of sculpting time. I want more pictures of the finished base, that looks sweet, but the one shot isn\'t enough.

One thing about your site - drop the frames! There is almost no practical reason to use them today, especially with the enhanced capabilities of CSS and PHP. It cuts out a lot of viewing room and is really annoying on smaller monitors. On my 19\" flat screen the site looked good, but on my smaller CRT the site feels cramped. I would get rid of the Google and Amazon ads and the hand and put the nav there, but that\'s my opinion. That whole column is a bit invasive, and could be used a lot better.

There are no frames on the site. It\'s all css. Tweaks are always ongoing however. :)

Excellent tutorial, you mind if I toss a link up on my forum?

Please feel free!
