The first is just awesome! The second one\'s pose leaves me a little flat, but she looks like a pirate and therefore is a must-have in my book.

They have quite a few nice greens you can see them here.

I am still drooling over the Hill Giant by Jason Weibe....

I like that necromancer although the sword is quite ugly. I don\'t like these \'embossed\' blades, since the embossing always look terribly out of scale. It\'s quite easy to swap weapons though... so I might put it on my \'to buy\' list after all. :]

I keep looking at that pirate/bard mini... there is something wrong I just can\'t put my finger on. ???

I\'ll still buy her, she needs a pistol in her right hand though...

Nothing at all wrong with that... lol

I usually use greenstuff to increase the chest size of my female minis, so this one seems about right. I think her head might be a tad small for her entire body, however.

Oh, and that fencing blade is waaaay out of proportion, but I plan on hacking that off anyway. Maybe give her a pirate hat, too.

I think the problem is not little head, but big hair.

I prefer the 6-28-05 female duelist.

Did anyone ever figure out what the Paint Ender is holding? (a magical bobbit wand?)

Yup, both the new female duelists/pirates are going in my collection.

I think Vince has hit it: the hair. It\'s almost as annoying as that one spear-wielding woman with the hair as a separate piece.

Not enough to make me dislike this piece. Notice there are a few more of this type of model all coming out at the same time?

August/September are going to be expensive months for me. Darksword has a Caldwell mini of a woman with 2 swords that I want badly.

Amongst the new greens there\'s also some Raptors that I need.

LOL! Sniffles just went pale at the thought of me getting those raptors...hee hee!

Sorry, they look boring to me. May it\'s because of the pure Reaper mini overkill that just makes you having seen better miniatures. This is average work, nothing spectacular (though I respect the fantastic sculpting work).

The first sculpt is excellent

I think the 2nd sculpt, which i characteristic of Denis, is the female is stiff and has more of a manly figure, remove her breast she looks like a guy... a wimpy skinny guy.

Her shoulders need to be smaller and her waistline has to be thinner and raised.
Of course that is just my opinion.

Reaper is my antidote to the GW sucks thread. That is a beautful sculpt. Their stuff is VERY reasonably priced.

I think the necromancer is the better of the two but i don\'t like the skulls...they look a little flat to me. I also think the bards left sleeve could of done with overhanging her wrist a little more. Not that i could do better but hey.. I bet the bard gets folk talking to her breasts all the time..how annoying it must be for her. \'Oh sorry mi dear, what was you saying\'

Out of the two I really like the necromancer anybody know when they intend to release her?

The other figure I disliked as soon as I saw her there is deffinately somehting wron I think it is a combination of static pose arms straight out to the sides with two weapons and the long hair out to the side as well gives the impression she has been run over by a truck or steam roller

Deffinately the necromancer though for me.

As for the bases I never have liked cauliflour bases but I can live with the skull base of the necromancer and I am already thinking of a few changes/ base type to put her on as well as a weapon change to replace that sword

Also the fact that the basket hilt of her sword is way out of scale - it\'s about the size of an army helmet:

Also, you can compare the left (our left) over arm with her calves. The calves seem huge in comparison! I\'d say this is a sloppy sculpt!

You guys are all right about the second sculpt, it doesn\'t thrill me, but it IS a pirate so I will buy her. I\'ll just modify the shite out of her. I kind of like that she has a fuller figure though, a little more realistic IMHO, but that right arm needs to be fleshed out . She looks like Popeye.

And this one is MUCH better -
