these appeal to me but then I am an old traditionalist......whats the bad news tho 7 bazillion bazillion pounds for the squad. good to see there's no fattys this time although the pensioner with the melta seems strange (fluff alert, marines not meant to be immortal ? baring accident or evisceration etc lol)

The pensioner is the one that stands out as being quite cool, to me. The rest are just...more marines. I rather like his beardiness. I think, fluff-wise, marines do age, they just do so very slowly, so I suppose his greybeard means he must be about a gajillion years old.

Yeah they are getting the message with finecast. I like a lot of their new marine releases. Too bad i don't play anymore. With all the nice minis out there i sometimes forget about the power armour.

Quite like the look of these and the Vanguard. These are quite limited from the point of view of converting to Space Wolves though - what is it with veterans and wearing bits of curtains? I do like the look of the Librarian though this is more limited than some of the other plastic clam packs they've produced over the years.

yep, looking good, except for the familiar, that I'll surely leave out IF I buy the model.

Yeah the curtains and general overly busy/decorative nature of them doesn't appeal.

The chap with the melta appears to have two long-service studs so has less than three hundred years of service.

The tin-face cherub is just more dull sculpted-for-plastic stuff. Not an interesting concept even.

I've got to admit that the "Flappy Nappy" look on marines does nowt for me.

I like them, but the price... £18 for a single, one pose, plastic mini. It makes Forgeworld look cheap.
