New fig release: Thumper from the Land of Mal
A stranger has been seen in the land
of Lioness.
All warlords have sent out troops to seek for this stranger and find out if he is friend or foe.
The initial feedback received from the messengers that managed to return reported that initial contact has been made but reasonable distance was maintained.
The stranger was reported to be very tall (fig is 50mm), initial descriptions are talking about a Giant with incredible strength (we can only assume comparable to his size).
He is carrying a heavy weapon that he utilizes to strike the ground.
When he does that the ground shakes and everybody runs for cover (thus keeping the troops away).
The latest word is claiming that a small group from Avalon easily lured the Giant into a trap (utilizing food to attract him). As the group was about to make the final catch the Giant saw them, hit the ground with his weapon, which resulted in the entire group fighting to regaining their balance whilst the stranger was calmly moving away.
The Simians have made contact. In a short time the stranger was quite ready to follow anybody providing him with food. The Simians named him Thumper; he seems to be devoted to the Simians as long as his belly is full. Others of his kind (Thumpers) have been spotted throughout Lioness always willing to work for food. No further information as to where they come from or how many of them there are is known. Everything seams to be out of proportion in these Giants size, strength, power except their mental abilities, which seems to be limited to the joy of hitting the ground (or any skulls that come by) with their 75Lbs sledgehammer.
Strategic Idiot: A combination
of the Independent and No Retreat abilities.
Clumsiness: Any attack dice rolled by this unit with a value of 17 or above will count as a potential wound against themselves. Unit must make a defensive roll against any potential wounds caused by Clumsiness.
Thump: Hitting the ground with his sledgehammer may cause the target unit to loose balance, target unit cannot receive a command for one turn.
Range: 10 inches. Line of Site: required. Unlike other special abilities, Thump is not always in effect. The player must choose to do this as a command. Leadership
test is required by target unit to determine if they are affected by
the Thump.
