It\'s created by Joss Whedon, who did \"Buffy the Vampire Slayer\" and \"Firefly\". It ought to be pretty good.

I suppose... if you happen to like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly...

I\'ll probably give it a miss.

Bah, I\'d missed that part when I watched the trailer. Sadly, I think I\'d best be prepared for you to be right. I really have to wonder why Fox keeps green-lighting all the unusual and interesting stuff they do when clearly what they really want is stuff that\'ll do the numbers of Simpsons and American Idol. Maybe they want to go on being the cool station that brought us the X-Files, but then give the potential new cool stuff more of a chance, dammit.

One series? That\'s a bit optimistic isn\'t it? They canned Firefly after about 3 episodes. Good thing they\'d already shot the other ten.

Well they will start out by playing the 3rd episode first..then skip a couple.. play at a later time because baseball or something else more important is on.. so 3 am for a couple episodes and then wonder why no one watches it and cancels it..only to find out later it had a huge fan base.

One day I shall become a character in the mould of those shown on the trailer and I shall use my skills on the pretty girl in the local library.

Looks good!

Word from Joss Whedon is that it will be contain VERY few commercials so will run with more content upon original viewing.

Reruns will have to have more cut out for more commercials.

Something new they\'re trying, in the hopes of keeping people from changing channels during commercials.

As much as I admire Joss\'s work (good lord, but the dialogue that man can write!), I just can see why he\'s willing to go back to Fox again. Too many frustrations to mention with that.

My television got moved to a dusty shelf in the garage after Firefly was cancelled. Joe Millionaire took it\'s spot on our Fox station. I\'ve had no room for television in my life since.

Sadly, I agree that this\'ll probably get a half season and then be replaced by some show that costs Fox the production price of one steady cam and a room for of embarrassingly dysfunctional exhibitionists.
