It comes in 50 lb bags and if it works, I can separate it down into much smaller lots much like TecStar does with microballoons.
I managed to talk the contractor out of a nearly empty bag for a few tries. I\'m not sure it will work as snow yet myself and want to get a few other opinions before I shuck out for a full bag.

well there are a few simple tests to check the properties you could try..
over a plain black slotta base try gluing it with first superglue and then a test with PVA .. check how it reacts , does it remain white, does it melt with glue , does it go shiny etc etc.
also try mixing it with either resin or varnish to see how it reacts
also if your thinking of distribution check for definite what it is made of so that you know for export reasons etc...Also for just the safety of handling .. A lot of the stuff out there is silicatebased and some are safe others a bit risky.. I\'ve taken to using a dust mask when I use any fine substrates these days.. I already smoke so clogging up my lungs with Micro balloons . snow effects static flocks metal and resin dust possibly isn\'t the wisest move...
other than that keep us all posted... and if you want a UK guinea pig who is happy to cover the postage costs just drop me a pm......
