We will bow to your superior knowledge on that issue. lol

However I didn\'t think ST:Nemesis was all bad, it had some good moments, not many however and I did leave feeling somewhat underwhelmed by the experience.
It comes down to the fact that (IMO) Screen writers for the SCI-Fi Genre are not willing to make the effort to step up to the line and challenge what is expected by the studios in regards to $ to Value, in terms of audience appreciation.
Given a studio willing to risk a large amount of Cash on a project from a trusted franchise, they should have made the effort to make the damn story work instead of rely on Set Piece Episodic actions.

I didn´t ask for that experience and I will spare you the details...^^

Ok, Nemesis had it´s moments... I just didn´t like that Piccard-clone villian. Do they want to tell us that Piccard is such a mighty uber-captain that there are no more bad guys left, so he has to kick his own butt? And I didn´t like that Data had to die, althought they had that fancy new transporters...

I guess that the genre has lost it´s popularity and that´s why the studios put so little effort in new projects
Maybe Sci/Fi is just going through a \"difficult\" time...

I´m looking forward to Clone Wars because I like animation and the prequels had so much goofiness and stupidity
that I´m sure Mr. Lucas hasn´t anymore left over... lol

Here\'s how I rate the Star Wars Movies:

Star Wars (A New Hope) 97% - The original

Empire Strikes Back 98% - Gothic and dark.

Return Of The Jedi 78% - let down by the brother/sister scene and the Falcon not being destroyed as it was meant to be in the original script.

The Prequels.. Not even worth rating.

It´s not that hard for the bad Star Wars movies to beat mostof the other Sci Fi stuff... and there are many people claiming that the genre is dead. Good thing that some assholes still are making movies like \"Ridick\" or \"Star Trek Nemesis\" to prove that the genre is well alive but somehow stinks like a rotten monkey´s arse...

I agree, there hasn\'t been a good Star Trek movie in......well EVER!

However, I did quite enjoy Riddick. Had I paid for it in the theater, I may not have. But I liked it. I\'d much prefer a dirty gritty SCI FI than the pristine homogenization that Star Trek puts out.

Nothing will ever compare to how bad that is, I just thank god that there\'s not many copies of that thing floating round any more.

But seriously George, why are you milking this for every penny?? Seems that the further we go from the original film the worse they get (excluding ESB which was the best out the lot).....

I just thought it was funny that the 3-minute short cartoons of Clone Wars that Cartoon Network did had more character development and better acting than any of the 3 newer films.

They were a bit of genius.
