Since you\'ve mentionned that you\'re painting for an army, I\'d say it\'s rather good (considering paint quality/time) and looks better than what people usually play with.

If you\'ve got time to work on it a bit more, I\'d suggest stronger contrast. The shadows on the inner parts of the legs could be deeper, and the highlights on the top of the armor and the head could be more marked. Also try to make thinner highlights for the last level.

Yup yup! Thin those highlights. It\'s hard armor and ought to have harsh, sharp reflections.

Also, get some shading in there. Even if only an ink wash. It\'ll give a lot more depth to the figure and will really help separate the various parts of your color scheme. Especially when seen on the table from eye level.

G\'luck and post more pics!

Looking pretty good! :)

As for edging try using a pretty dry brush (not as dry as with drybrushing) with not much paint on it and use the side of the brush, not the tip. Then all hard efges paint themselves, paint sharper and brighter highlights on corners and such facing upwards to get a more coherent feel to the miniature. I think the blue of the face could probably be a bit paler, maybe some more highlighting? The only thing I don\'t really like is the very saturated pink/purple. It doesn\'t go that great with the other colours imho. Ti seems like you\'ve used warlock purple or similar on it, I\'d probably use liche purple or something even darker. That is because a deeper purple is more of a complementary to the yellowish armour (which colour is rather cool). For shading as suggested, you can try the new GW washes, they do work great.

Well just my opinion! :) Good tabletop standard!

Thanks

Thankyou everyone who got in contact with me. I know the photos were not gret quality and I am sure if I was able to get good or even decent phots of the minis they would look a bit better. I am currently painting some new bits to go with the army and I have been trying to do as you advised, I will post them when they are completed.

Once again thankyou everyone
