Hi all. Recently GW released the new Terminator box set and i was wondering if they are thinking of doing chaos versions anytime soon. Anyone heard anything?

Yeah, I\'ve been thinking about it but i think that there would be alot of intricate work with GS that I\'m not ready to handle yet. 
The old ones are quite busy looking and i reckon it would be hard to get a conversion to the same standard. Knowing my luck Gw will release some by the time I have finnished one

I reckon you could just wait for the \"real thing\" and meanwhile paint other stuff you have / want to get. New minis come out faster than you think... I got my ~6000 pts. Space Marine Army a couple of weeks before the 3rd ed. Tyranid codex came out. All the time I thought, \"when I\'m done painting the Marines, I\'m gettin\' me some \'Nids!\". Well, the army is still far from done, and meanwhile there is a whole new Tyranid army to drool at.
My point being, if you have enough to do, you`ll be surprised how fast time flies

Yeah..true. At least i hope so. I\'d love to see what updated ones would look like. After looking through the codex yesterday i tempted myself to try sculpt a head based from one of the drawings.
Please don\'t say it looks like an evil rabbit. Because i know it does .
I\'m quite pleased with it as its my first attempt at sculpting a head (i\'ve tried doing feet before also ) But anyway, what do you reckon. Should i post it on Cmon?

it looks pretty cool - heads are really difficult to do. but it is just a head so i wouldn\'t bother

Not heard anything about them bringing out Chaos Terminators although I believe they have an article of some such on the website (mite even be the conversion clinic) where somebody has converted one of the new Terminators into a Terminator of Khorne.
I have just picked up a box of them and either my eyesight is making everything look bigger these days (don\'t think so so keep your traps shut on that comment )
but the asault cannon in the pack must be nearly as big as the assault cannan they did for the Chaos Dreadnought from the Space Crusade boxed game.
I know they say that scale is creeping up but at this rate we won\'t be able to call them miniatures for much longer

The reason they havent come out with some new termies is all because of the damn fluff...........:evil:i was itching for some new units. However supposedly when chaos made off with all that stuff during the heresy they lost access to all the new equipment............. Dumbasses and so they cant get ne of the new stuff like there stuck with all the old bolters and combi bolters and all that good stuff

couldnt they just pinch new wepons and ordinance from new SM termies they kill??
dont they have any factories or anything that they produce new wepons in? or use SM factories on worlds that they capture

And no, they cant replicate Terminator Armour because Even the Space marines cant do it! Its old tech lost in ages past so they maintain it..
But on that thought then the Chaos boys should be able to upgrade their stuff too...
