I just wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you. I actually watched these before you posted them here, but now I got a appropriate place to say 'thanks'. That selective glazing tutorial of yours was extremely helpful in figuring this technique out.

Thank you, especially for the selective glazing/juicing tutorial....I am much more of a visual learner. Is this method mainly used for large areas like cloaks and large areas of skin, or is it able to be applied elsewhere also?

I pretty much use it for everything on my higher quality mini's. I still use other techniques with it aswell though. I never use any ONE technique on a mini by itself. I'll sometimes use this, then edge highlight, or use this, and still add a wash(i use washes in a weird way, you can see my video on that one) I even use this technique with metallics, and a combination of shading metallics with acrylics. But yah, this technique really can be used for ANY part of the mini. Although really tiny parts are difficult to do it on.(i.e. eyes button) but it could feasibly be done.

Thanks!
Gary.

Awesome, thanks for the amazing video, It would take me ages longer to get that down had it been text and pics...plus showing the water to paint ratio and finished "juice" really helped also.

I already said thanks for these tutes in my thread, but just wanted to post how impressed I was by them here. Being able to see these techniques in action is so much easier in conjunction with reading widely. Cheers!
