Looks pretty good to me, despite the shoddy pictures.

The perils of pressing enter by mistake instead of delete whilst writing a topic title. Should make a little more sense now Wolf Fang!

It does look very interesting, I think it is about time GW made decent fantasy terrain for those of us that don\'t make our own and don\'t want to pay forgeworld prices.

Thanks for the pictures. I herd this stuff was coming but to be honest its not what I was expecting or better hoping for. I guess I was hoping for more building kits and less of the terrain pieces I mean is it really that hard to make a hill?

Are the buildings detailed in the interior? or are they hollow shells?

The terrain as it is suits the needs of your average Warhammer gamer though, as far as offering what they need to play a game without having to build things themselves. In a game of 40k lots of buildings are cool, but in Warhammer they only serve to act as obstacles really, because it isn\'t a skirmish game (and with 7th edition I feel I can say that now, because skirmishers aren\'t quite the potent force they had become. Yay!) so too many would be overkill.

And no, it\'s not that hard to make hills, but it\'s not something everyone can be bothered with either. If I didn\'t live in Nottingham and have Warhammer World\'s tables to use I\'d probably buy some hills through sheer lazyness. The woods look nice and Gothic too.

No clue about the interiors. It would be good for Mordheim purposes if they were detailed too though.

ok but heres the real question.. how much? some of those look quite nice but dollar signs are going off in my head. i dont care much for the hills but the arcane ruins look quite cool.

I really like the woods... I can see my self buying a pack or two of those.

Now... In the picture lono posted, just top right of the tower in the middle... Is that the new wyvern?
*edit* probably not, as everything else is chaos or dwarves...

It isn\'t the new Wyvern, I\'ve seen that model and it looks nothing like it. I think this is just a conversion using Galrauch\'s wings.

I was wondering if they were going to do this for WFB. I bought the Imperial City set for 40K and thoroughly enjoyed putting them together and painting them. (Lego genes and all) They were one of the best things for 40K in a long time. My kids love playing with them as well.

I gotta admit, some of that terrain looks pretty good. Although i never understood the whole idea of kit made hills, can they be really that hard to make or is it more like too lazy to make your own hills. Still the Arcane Ruins i wouldn\'t mind getting to cut up and use in display bases.

Sure is, and its also made of memory foam, so will retain its original shape after being leaned on.

This stuff looks fantastic! GW have been doing some great stuff recently, but it seems people are only interested in threads where they drop a bollock...
