Some of those tiny details, when painted on rather than being sculpted, can look much more delicate (a good thing). Nice work.

Very nice, The blending looks excellent in that colour.

The hand painted recesses in the armour looks really effective.

But I do have one problem with it.........it\'s the white dotted line around the hand-painted gem, to me it looks a bit out of place and it draws your eye to it, distracting you from the rest of the excellent paint job.

If I was you I\'d lose that or tone it down to a more subtle purpley-red like the rest.

Otherthan that damn fine piece of work.

Great job on the purple/red. Also, the freehand is excellent! I think the actual gems could be blended a little better. Keep it up.

That looks great Tony! I love it! The gems and red blending is exellent, just superb. However, to make this even better, i suggest you go over the small white stripes(the one supposed to be tubes and such) and repaint some of them. they look a bit sloppy. Other than that, it\'s amazing! good luck at the GD!:D

Nice, this is looking great. Do you do wet-blending for your purple-reds? This is going to be a stunning piece.

I freaking love it. Insanely brilliat idea to give extra detail not by modelling but by painting. Ima have to give that a go someday. Inspirational. A blending tutorial would be well appreciated by atleast a few members here.
