I started this guy a few days ago:

I still cant seem to take a good picture, but anyways.

I want some opinions about the armor. Specifically the helmet. I am torn as to whether I should do it in Gold or blue steel (nmm that is not the Zoolander look). Im worried if I do it in gold it will be to similar to his beard. but I wanted to do his cloak in some kind of a frozen bluish tone and I i dont want the helmet, if done in steel, to be to similar to the armor.
I guess im worried about the mini getting to monotone.
I was also thinking of the cloak maybe being some kind of muted green.

C&C and advice great appreciated.

If you did it a pale gold, then you\'d avoid getting too close to the beard. I think blue steel would look best though, even with bluish tones in the cloak, because you\'ll have to include a pure white highlight, so it\'ll still different. With that beard, it won\'t look monotone.

What about a gold center and blue steel or silver for the wings?

i agree with pablo i think that would look really classic looking.

especially since it is a armoured helmet it would look good two toned instead of all silver or all gold

yeah I think i will do that Ima get some more work done on him tonight, hopefully Ill get some pics up in a day or two.
