I posted these over at the Reaper mini forums earlier today for some feedback. FIgured I would do well to do so here as well.

These are 35 mm scale. I am using the Sir Conlan templar mini as an example of scale.

What do you guys think?

Gosh, their arms look a bit twisty.. are they mutants? ;)

I like the musculature.. it has a classical art kinda feel to it.

Will you keep posting progress pictures?

Thanks everyone for the replies and encouragement.:D

I have yet to have time today to do any more work on these models but last night I did flesh out the thighs quite a bit and I think they have turned out well. I plan to get a little further along ( hopefully done with the lower body ) tonight and tommorrow afternoon.

So if you are interested check back tommorrow night for the update. Thanks for the interest.

Wow - these look great so far! Are these being done for a company or do you plan to have them cast yourself? If the rest of them looks this good and they are barbarians, I will be first in line to get them!

Well these are my own thing really. I would like to go to work for a company ona strictly freelance basis, but I have yet to seek employment. I still have a lot to learn.

But I am going to try to find a way to have them cast up. Right now I have about 12 of these guys going, so I think that would suffice well as a start up unit. ;)

Minor update;

This is the latest on the fig I have been showing thus far. I am not too sure about the length of the legs and the fur of the boots. SO I would definitely appreciate any feedback anyone is willing to give.

I think the fur length on the boots looks good. I am not sure on the leg length, but I think (to my eye, as a personal trainer) that his thighs seem too small compared to the calves now that I really look. I think he needs more outer thigh thickness (not alot, but enough to give him more \"sweep\" out there).

Of course, as barbarians there will be no wimpy finesse weapons like swords I hope, just good cleaving and crushing weapons like axes and hammers ;)
