Montka, quite a bit looks to be photoshoped from Charlton Heston's gun locker/room.
The thing that I want to know is why are people painting on their computer desks? I mean the keyboard and the monitor takes up most of the room, most computers that I've seen are not in a good place for natural lighting, and the idea of getting more crap (paint, shavings, and water) into/on computer equipment makes me cringe. Plus one distracts from the other, and to use one you have to move/clean up the other, no?

... jealous...

I can't afford ammo to defend my home, I have a huge knife, and a couple of throwing axes. That's enough for me. And quiet too, I can deal with an intruder and not have to worry about neighbors hearing the commotion normally assosciated with firearms. Then I can dispose of the body with no questions asked.

Christ! Just noticed there's even a LAW in that gun collection! Bit OTT for the friendly neighbourhood burglar! Maybe just in case he's getting away in a vehicle...I'd sanction that under reasonable force.
I'm honouring the same reasons my work surface is so unkempt right now by not being arsed to take a photo. Maybe in time.

Chrome: Is this a custom construction? The part I'm most interested in is the actual magnet strip. It's much thinner than what I've been able to find, having it attached to a movable arm is a nice bonus. If you can buy this already made could you point me in the right direction?

Thanks!View attachment 7792

It is indeed custom! I went to IKEA, took the cheapest desk lamp and magnet strip I could find and they fit almost perfectly together.

More precisely these two:

[/URL]In hindsight I should have bought some rare earth magnets to compensate for the composition of magnets inside the strip, it's a bit wonky. Not too late though, I just need to get to it. :)
