I actually managed to quit smoking as a resolution... it\'s the first time I\'ve really made a resolution and I\'m fecking gobsmacked I managed it... actually quite easily ???

Consequently, I now have plenty of spare cash to buy minis... actually, I can\'t believe how much extra cash I now have lol!!!

@ Beezlebrush - Good for you! I have been trying to quit smoking for a few months now, and to say the least it hasn\'t gone so well.

Good for you Beelzebrush. I\'m not much one for resolutions but if the new year motivated you to make that commitment, I\'m all for it.

Stick with in, bud. You are doing yourself and everyone who loves you a kindness. Now... let\'s hope I can convince my kids\' grandfather to do the same!

The gym thing is still going well for me (although I started that back in November or so). 5 days a week. I\'ve gotten to the point where I\'ve stopped losing weight, as I\'m replacing the fat burned with muscle.

Congrats Beelzebrush on quitting smoking. Saving money and quitting a dirty habit, can\'t get much better than that!

Heh... simultaneous post. =)

Keep at the gym too, Matt. I\'m a rock climbing nut (now that I can\'t surf anymore /cry ). My mantra is: Alcohol is a gateway drug to staying up late. Staying up late is a gateway drug to eating anything and everything in sight.

... stupid eating. :-\\

Cheers guys! I\'m not totally out of the woods yet, as the urge to have a smoke is still quite strong when it happens, but in my own mind I\'ve quit and have no intention of \'lighting up\' again, which I guess is the majority of the battle...

I\'m saving an astonishing £250.00 per month I reckon lol... I can\'t understand why I didn\'t quit years ago lol!

Good luck with the fitness thing guys!

too?

Not that I really have a reason to.

Anyway, I\'ve been doing ok-ish on mine. Could be better on some but all in all I\'m pleased.
