New Years Resolutions

Here we go, resolutions for the new year, written down, for all to see, so I got to do them:

Mini-Related:

-No more GW brushes, W&N from now on!
-No more GW paints (as my primary paint), switching to vallejo and andreas.
-Comment on more minis, even if it means voting on less.
-Work hard to crack to top 50 here on CMON (ie challenge myself to produce better and better minis, and photo skills).
-Convince myself to enter contests (online to start, need to work up to the GD\'s).

Not mini-related:

-Start my OWN graphic design business, no more filling other peoples pockets! (a goal some time in \'05)
-Eat better, less pizza.
-Add 30 minutes a day of cardio-vascular excercise to my work out.
-Find a better place to live than my current crappy apt.


I think that should keep me busy for a good part of \'05

+Get fatter, I NEED to :duh: I\'m like 186 and 70kgs Damn this teenage thing.

A couple that I probably wil not keep:bouncy:

Will not buy any more mini\'slol

Will paint all the ones stored in the garagelollol not a hope in this life time

Will get a web site up and running - been saying this for nearly two years now

Some that I will keep

Will not drink any more - will not drink any less eitherlol

Will shed a bit of wieght and start training seriously again

Will finish the Warmaster Orc & Goblin army I\'m working on

YOU SPOILED MY PLANS! lol... eny way yeh... i dont quite have the cash for a working one nvm the know how yet... kinna... i have a general idea (prolly just gonna use already made aprts or something dunno yet) but yeh.. dont really have the cash for a working one seeing as im only 17 with no job lol.... however im prolly gonna make a cheap wooden 1 or something


as for griffon..... buy more minis..... and well... can i have some? :innocent:

I don\'t do resolutions! The only thing I would consider as a resolution would be stop smoking, but since I don\'t smoke there will be no resolutions from me...

You don\'t need to get fat! I\'m in the 198-200 region length-wise and weigh somewhere in the 65-70 range and I\'ll be 30 next year! Works for me! I\'ve always been that thin so it\'s not a sign of unhealth.

you should stop complaining you don\'t seem to be in the \'skinny\' range I\'m 1m74 and 48kg, now that\'s scary. The bad thing is no matter what I eat I can\'t seem to gain anything The good thing though is that according to my doctor no fat in my weight, only muscle and bone and the usual stuff, wich actually ends up beeing a great thing for rockclimbing

No resolutions for me (well none mini related) but I do have goals and plans for the new year.

Goal 5 by July and 6 by end of 2005.

(That is a score. At least one mini with that score posted here on CMON.)

weight gain is not important I am 18 and have a 24.5 inch waist it seems fine to me, no matter what I eat it doesn\'t change.

Get a decent 7 on CMoN, maybe 8
Sell something as a commision
make first cut at GDUK

be permanently wasted at uni....

-Break the 7 points barrier with my minis (last year I did it with my scenics... ).

Non-Mini:

-Find a girlfriend...mini painter life is so lonely....

-Convince my boss that I´m a very important part of his company.

All you need is to start going to the gym three-four times a week, get a training program and use some extra-nutrition stuff. Dont\' try to get more fat, more muscle is what you need But don\'t do this unless you are certain that you dont grow hight anymore, because weightlifting can seriously affect that, at worse - stop it. || On to my new years resolution : Paint the rackham kelt minotaur. That thing is sitting on my shelf, waiting to be primed. I still haven\'t decided a colourscheme, and painting that thing will be nasty with my pace.. sure it\'s a great looking fig and all, but I fear I\'ll have to spend more than 40hours on it.

hey i\'m like 168cm and 80kg yay!!!!!!!

my resolutions:

1. watch my daughter grow up
2. not watch too much simpsons with my daughter while the wife screams at me not to......
3. paint an entry for at least 2 different golden demons
4. go to 2 or more golden demons in 2005.
5. get my mutha of all duels entry finished to the level i want
6. meet some of my cmon buddies in the flesh
7. to pick up a paintbrush before 10pm
8. sculpt another full green
9. get a placing at GD or win conflict again
10. try to not let my head get really big if the above one happens.
11. spend less time here and more with the wife/sprog.
12. get a good nights kip!

so i\'m ambitious for next year! i hope you can all fulfil yours..

That\'s actually a very good resolution!
I\'m fed up coming to work with red eyes and all I\'ve got to say for myself is \"well, I was up half night paintin\'...\". It would be much cooler to say something like \"well... I got home a bit late from the pub\" lol
That would get me a lot more sympathies from my work mates. lol

Non-mini:

- find a new place to live
- be more calm, pacient and cool about things and people. I\'m sure that if I keep up with my current personality I\'ll end up a sad and lonely old man.

In this regard I\'m sure that I\'ll learn a lot with the people on these forums. You all seem so nice and friendly.
