Im new here so I thought I\'d just say a quick hello

here\'s my gallery, only 3 pics so far but got lots more to get round to putting on.

Hey Steve, nice to \'meet\' you and welcome to the forums. Duly voted on your gallery.

I like the way you\'ve done Maugan Ra, although you might want to swap the colours round on the flames as they would look more real if they went from yellow up to orange. Just an observation, not a criticism as you\'ve painted them quite neatly.

Hi Steve, welcome to the forums! I took a look at your minis and gave them votes. I see a lot of potential in what you\'ve painted, and getting 6\'s on your first cmon minis is actually quite an accomplishment! Heck, you\'re painting at a higher level than I was when I found this place less than a year ago. Stick around and I look forward to seeing your improvement in the coming months :)

@pro - its funny ive never thought about doing the flames yellow to orange, will have to give it a go sometime soon.

@Eric - thanks for the support, these minis were painted quite sometime ago and I\'m only just starting to get back into painting (stoped while i was at uni). seeing the stuff on here has given me lots of inspiration for future minis, can\'t wait to give that NMM or SEMN or whatever it is ago too

Welcome, Steve! Your gallery shows some potential indeed. This place is a never ending source of inspiration and knowledge. It\'s amazing to experience how fast you can improve by looking at photos and listening to others\' advice here, and it\'s also a lot of fun to see how well other people improve. :)

Can I just say...

It\'s really good to see so many people giving sound advice and welcoming a new member.

In the past there have been threads slating CMON for not being friendly or similar comments and this just goes to show what a load of b*llocks that is.

Steve, I hope you stick around and post more minis. Everything everyone\'s said is true and in many cases those are the words of the true \'masters\' IMO

BTW I only knew about the flames because I did it myself lol

Hi there and welcome. I definetly agree that this is a good place to improve your painting, I think I have (when I get around to doing any :D). Anyway hope to see some more of your work.

Newbie ... me too!

I`d really like you to rate my mini, cause it is the first that I worked on a bit harder.
