Hi,
I just signed up and uploaded a couple of shots, but they don\'t seem to appear in my gallery. I don\'t see anything in the FAQ about whether they should appear there automatically or not so could anyone steer me right?
Cheers
Paul

All miniature submissions are viewed by a moderator before going active. You should see the minis if you click on the \"Add/edit pictures\" link and they should appear as \"waiting\". When they\'ve been accepted by the moderator they will change status to \"active\" and then you\'ll see them in your gallery as well. Sometimes it takes a day or even a couple of days because the moderators do this in their spare time. Usually, though, it will be active within 24 hours.

Welcome to the forum anyway.

Whilst it is fun to post mini\'s and get them scored, you may wish to post pics in the appropriate part of this forum. You will get lots of very usefull advice and comments, which will bump up your scores next time you paint.

Panic not! Everyone (almost) on this forum is very nice.:D

Oops sorry - do you mean that I should post pics here on the forum before submitting them to the main site?

It\'s just a suggestion to gain more input on your work... If you only post the minis on the site they will easily get lost in the large amount of minis here, but if you post a link to your submission in the Discuss Submissions forum you will get responses from the people visiting the forums. You can post the link to your submission even before it has been activated, even.

No, sorry PaleKing, don\'t mean to mislead you.

You can do either. If you come looking for constructive help and guidance then the forum is the best place. If you just want to see how your painting stacks against others then the \"main site\" is the place to go.

Depends on what you want and what floats your boat.

What I was trying to say was do not be afraid of posting on the WIP section.

Cheers, next step is to master the ins and outs of model photography. I\'d like to chart the progress of my new WFB Nurgle army as it comes along.

Model photography is a science in itself! It takes a lot of trial and error to master it, and I can\'t say I do still after years of experimenting.

Welcome to the forums, nice set up on the minis you have put in your gallery, if you want some creative feedback try to get photo\'s of each mini, and close up ones.
Good luck:D
