news flash! rosac actually submits something

so its that time of year again, where i get my butt in gear and paint something im proud of. here is my latest effort. when voting, please remember this is a 25mm mini, and the pics are huge.

Not bad! overall neat and wellpainted. Looks like you\'ve dotted in a white reflection in the eye as well, cool!

What I think it could gain from is and overall boost of contrast, especially the metals and the face. A couple of layers of GW washes on the metals would probably do the trick.

wel done you definitely have an attention to detail that many painters dont..

I would thin your paints down a little more to achieve a smoother result. I really like the base as well. very tight lines, solid paint job.

ok guys, ill try and up the contrast. Im also pleaed with his back, but forgot to photograph it

ill add some metall contast (2 more devlan mud glazes required methinks) and possibly highlight the skin up a notch.

looking at your mini again i noticed that there is a mold line on his face.. I miss some mold lines often! make sure you file those off. lookin forward to the next post

Ive benn working on this guy for a bit, ive washed the metals with devlan mud, but its a bit to heavy, so I may have to try a technique I saw in WD.

general tidy up all round, extra highlights on the skin, the green armour paddle things(?) and the leather.
