Next CMON contest?

Well, I don\'t have the answer, but hopefully it will be soon.
The 2nd CMON contest finally ended (as far as the voting goes) a few days ago.
I would assume sometime at the beginning of the new year.
Hopefully, it will be another Steve Buddle mini, or maybe something from Heresy, or even some of the Harbinger stuff, or maybe a Werner Klocke, or possibly........lol

I want something Sci-fi. How bout a cross genre type fig like a sci-fi western type fig. Or something with a decisive anime feel.

Hmmmn. Something like the Captian out of \'Firefly\', or Zoe with the \'cut-down\' Winchester. Great series, just too short. I could go for either of those, but hey if Steve Buddle or Werner Klocke are sculpting it/them it\'ll be a doozy.

???I know, I’m known for lapses of memory ..but I though the next CMON painting contest mini was going to be Gael’s Sister Christina the deamon hunter ..#20825, barring a problem with the horse, which was being worked on.

I seem to remember it being Gael\'s mounted figure, but the plastic parts need to be removed so it\'s taking a bit of time.
I also heard it would be that mech pilot, but I\'m not sure Borg ever got the figure from Cyril. Gael\'s mounted figure came after that, so I\'m thinking it\'s that one.

Good to see there are a few (?) other \"Firefly\" fans here. Man, that was a good show, canceled just as it was getting /really/ interesting. I\'m glad I have a little $$ in the kitty so I can get the DVD set... Anyway, the mounted figure looks very good, but ANOTHER fantasy mini? Well, I guess I can\'t complain, the last contest mini was a lot of fun to work on... (I did two)

I never heard there was a decision. I thought they were considering a monster this time. Personally I think it would be a good shift to do a vehicle.

Except that you have to consider the financial aspects of this. Doesn\'t everyone who entered the last contest get one mini free for the next one? So it probably has to be a regular-sized mini.

Well, we have an answer from Borg now
but to clarify my point, I never said a 28mm scale vehicle. I was actually thinking of the ships from Silent Death, but GW has a battleships game too I think. Starfleet battles did minis too. There\'s lots of small vehicles out there, including some carwars style stuff.
I agree that a 28 scale vehicle would be too expensive, but not necessarily as a prize (since prizes are limited) but as an entry cost. I for one wouldn\'t enter because of the cost, but I can toss down ~5$ for a mini or two for the contest.
