Surprise teams....Titans, Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

I saw the Titans Vs Saints and the Titans destroyed them in the 4th. They just kept going and going their quarter back looks quite good as well as some of their runners!!

The only knock against the Titans is the incredibly tough division they come from....It\'s going to be an uphill climb for them, that\'s for sure.

My Vikings however, are currently 1-3. I didn\'t have too much hope for them but they could so easily be 3-0 right now.

They lost to the Lions in overtime (The Vikes missed a kick that would have won it).

The lost to the Chiefs 10-13, but earlier in the game, a touchdown was taken away by some awful officiating.....Even the replay showed it was a touchdown.....I HATE when officials end up deciding the game.

Cheese curds are so good that I only manage to get them once a year,
because they sell out within five minutes of hitting the fridge shelves in the store.

I\'m from London, and I love American football so much I play for a team, the London Blitz. The Senior team (i\'m in the youth team) just won the highest level of competitive UK american football - the BritBowl - on Sunday.
So yeah, it\'s not just Americans who are into it. Also the Miami Dolphins game being played at Wembley is sold out. You can only get a ticket now for £600 through dodgy dealings according to my dad. :D

Yup - I don\'t know the exact structure of the playoffs, but the Super Bowl is the NFC Champions versus the AFC Champions.

American Football\'s probably the only popular US sport I just never managed to get into. Always enjoyed basketball, baseball took a while but once I worked out the intricacies of it I started to enjoy it.

Too much stopping and starting in the NFL though. Gets on my nerves a treat. Good computer games though surprisingly enough.

The London Blitz huh? That is very cool!

What position do you play?

This time of year, football permeates just about everything around here. From the Peewee leagues, to high school, college and of course the Pros.

It\'s a fantastic sport to play as well.

Anyhow, Petey has got it. There are two conferences in the NFL, the American, and the National (AFC, NFC)...each one is broken down into 4 divisions each with 4 teams. They play a 16 game season. The best teams make the playoffs, and have to play teams in thier conference to advance to the superbowl. Its actually almost traditional for the playoff games to be more tightly contested, as the teams seem to know each other better and the rivalries are much deeper in conference play.

Yes, it very well did!

Each conference had an East, Central, and West division. But as they added teams, it was starting to get funky.

Here is a list of the current Divisions, and standings.

NFL has also gotten an enormous boost from the popularity of the Fantasy Football leagues...where you draft a team of players, use thier real life stats to score points, so on so forth.

Living within 100 miles of Gillette statium my hands down favorite team is the Patriots. Im pretty sure there 3 and 0 right now, and im hoping to see them go 16-0 (like that would happen). Having moss for WR is a great addition but the team is great even without him.

@Roger....actually......the team that was Houston moved to Nashville and became the \"Tennesee Titans\". The NFL granted Houston another \'expansion\' team, that became the Houston Texans.

The Patriots were dangerous before without Moss, but with him...damn!! Tom Brady is a complete stud though. Kind of miss Moss here for the Vikes, but his high salary and terrible attitude was hard to bear, especially when losing.

You got the Patriots and the Red Sox? Damn you\'re spoiled!!lol

:D I play SS, and I\'m on special teams as we don\'t have enough players for a specific special teams unit.
