Nice suprise from Dick Blick

I ordered 2 new winston series 7 brushes (size \"0\" and \"1\") from dick blick and couldn\'t wait to get them.

After receiving them and opening up the box, behold, they gave me a free \"1\" size..

I need to get some new brushes, and I think I\'ll use old Dick Blick for that!!

Was it intentional, or did somebody throw it in on accident?

Last time something like that happened to me I made the mistake of opening my big mouth. The company said that it wasn\'t intentional and they would send me a pre-paid shipping label to send it back. Or else they would charge me for it.

Wow... that is lame.

I once scored a free $300 auto spray gun. :D I ordered a set with a touch up gun and a full size gun, but they only sent me the full size. I called them up and they sent a full new kit and never asked for me to return the extra gun. I\'m not complaining.

I would have charged them a handling or restocking fee as well!

:rolleyes: I know some where California has a law about receiving items that you did not order....... you get to keep it and the company can sit and spin.

The only time this happened to me was actually with New Wave games, our old friends (before I realized never to order from them). But they sent a completely wrong order, so I complained and actually got them to send my right order. However, they also said they\'d send a self addressed stamped thing to send the first order back...which of course their foolproof customer service department never managed to pull off. So I ended up with free minis. At least once their incompetence paid off for the consumer!

Of course being an all round (No Pun intended) brush It\'ll get lots of use.

Yeah, but Eric implied that a size 1 WN7 is the best thing ever to get for free (or at least better than most things...). ;)

okok, details details...but generally free stuff ends up being the junk you never really wanted or never will really use. I mean 99.8% of the dick blick website I\'d probably never use. (although it\'s all great in theory!)

So the theory is then:

Free stuff I\'d use > Free stuff I wouldn\'t use

haha, it\'s ok, now, if I don\'t post for another 6 months, I\'ll just blame it on you ;)

I think Nathan put you up to it to herd me back over toward wyrd and away from the big mean people at cmon :p
