To me it seems you are rushing your paintjob somehow, trying to get into extensive freehand work, while the base is not up to a great standard yet. Try first to clearly define your areas, work them, and once done, in a clean way, with a convincing result, you can start weathering.
For example the gun, the red part, hasn\'t been highlited and shaded enough, and yet you tried to do freehand on it. Other example, the right arm hasn\'t been cleanly worked.
Take your time, slow down your paints a bit more, one you got smooth blendings, with a coherent miniature that could be the finished product you can start weathering.
