Night Lord Vindi

Hi,
Currently working on a Night Lords Vindicator and in a attempt to add a bit of the terror tactics element to it I have added a Terrorghiest head over the cannon (You've all seen it before I guess, Barrel poking out of mouth type job) and am having a bit of a issue now. As you can see from the pic it has a good bit of skin on the bone and im now wondering how to go about painting it and making it fit in a bit more. The solid box like structure of the tank with this sudden element of a more natural look clashes a bit in my mind. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can deal with this? Did think about adding a spine running along the top of the vehicle but unsure if that will work.

Any feedback/Ideas/Alternatives would be much appreciated.

Poor Terrorgheist! Unless you already built a zombie dragon and had the head sitting around.

There is a bit of flesh, but you could just GS some mating flesh onto the tank, to blend it in a bit. Add a few organic bits here and there, and I think it'd fit right in.

You guessed it, head was left over from zombie dragon :)
I should have explained that I am doing pre heresy night lords so dont wanna push it into the realm of chaos too much so the direct connection to the barrel would be best avoided if I keep it organic looking. Rather it was more like a recently taken trophy or something similar. Had thought about painting it as metal though and just joining to the barrel but dont know if this would work.
I'll try and get a pic up with it on the tank but forgot to take one before i left for work today :(

You could still blend it in as part of the barrel like you suggested, but you'd have to basically rebuild all the skin so you had a seamless transition.

I'll have to play around with it a bit more tonight. Have to admit that the more I'm thinking about it the more i'm unsure of it. Finding it quite a struggle to get the look of these night lords just right. Tricky to induce terror while keeping the loyalist element and avoiding the chaos type look

To tie in with the "recently taken trophy" look, why not add other organic or bone elements to other parts of the vindi?

Say, like strings of bones hanging from the sides? And maybe some smaller bone decorations on top to break up the hard lines?

Sorry, don't really have any visual references to show what I'm thinking, except maybe this (but on a larger scale)
