Nikon 5400

For anyone in the UK interested in buying this camera at the moment, Jessops of all people seem to be selling it much cheaper than most other sites at just under £200.

I know its not their usual behaviour to be the cheap guys

It\'s a great camera for mini photography, it\'s why I\'ve used and I\'ve always been really happy with the results!

I was really shocked to see the price - seeing as it seems to be over £300 on alot of sites!

It still seems to be rated as a top camera even though its a couple of years old now.

It\'s the next version released from mine (5000) and I think mine\'s the Dog\'s.

£200 is a steal, but additional batteries are a must, or get a mains power supply. The remote release is a boon as well.

Is the rechargable bad? My Nikon just uses AA\'s so I don\'t know what the rechargable is like

It\'s not that the rechargable batteries are bad, quite the contarary. It\'s just that they always die off when you don\'t want them to. (Murphy\'s Law).
Nikon\'s own Batteries are quite pricey, but there are several \"Clones\" which are exactly the same and ½ the price.
