Dangerous when wet
well, he\'s a long way from finished yet, that\'s for sure! Thanks for all your suggestions ladies and gents, I\'ll take them on board. The kit comes with a broken bowl - which I have yet to paint. I\'ll have a go at that and update a little later on.

The shadow on the base would be extremely cool actually. You could play around with a strong single light source (like a flashlight) in the dark and photograph the base when you have something cool. Mask it off using your reference photo and selectively airbrush the base to darken it up a bit and you\'re in business :)

That is a good idea dude, but I don't think it's for me with this piece - I have done a lot of light source work recently, and this was going to be a bit of a step back from that. Gah, I've had my internet connection broken over the last few days, so I shall have to do a big update later tonight :) Thanks so much for the idea and the feedback though :)
