Got more done on my saint celestine today. Its at the point where brain melting happens. Thus i will push through to the final adjustment stage where making key areas of the armour pop or not happens.

Watch out folks! This may be another epic NMM piece from Mr Soule à la the Flower Knight. Watching with keen interest.

You mentioned using XV88 in your FB SBS. I found using this as your base for gold makes things far too brown. And when adding off white to make your highlights it doesn't have the same luster and shine as snakebite. To make snakebite from the new paint line, take two parts XV88 and one part Balor Brown.

Very nice, AND a tutorial! Is seems like snakebite is the go-to base colour for NMM gold.

Yes snake bite leather is great because it's a yellow based brown. Normally most browns are red based, meaning they go pink when lightened.

T Soule is the master of putting dark next to light for the contrast needed to really make things bling bling!!!!

That's a very nice warm gold there tommie. I particularly like the work on the shoulder pad. Concave shapes are technically very difficult to do in nmm and you have pulled it off nicely.

I have been playing with some new Ideas for polished steel this week.
This is one idea I will be tweaking is a little but overall i like it!

Just done my first tries at your recipe. I've added a final glade of Liche Purple in the darkest areas. Maybe not to your standard but I do like the method.
