NMM tutorials?

Does anybody know if there is such a thing as a step by step guide on the web? I have seen many examples of NMM on coolmini but im not sure how to go about doing it myself. oh and btw does anyone ever have any problems getting onto coolmini? Occasionally no pics will be displayed and i cant get onto forums. Thanks a lot all
