no clue when it comes to photography

i want to start posting up pics of my models but the problem i have is the only camera ive got is the one on my phone, its the latest sony erricson cybershot and it has a macro setting but ive no idea weather it is ant good or not

You can always try. The problematic part is to hold it absolutely still. But you can always support your hands on something.

The most important part is that you give a good and even lighting to your miniature.

I had this problem up until recently. Instead of using the cybershot phone invest in a Sony T70 camera, it has a brilliant macro, tripod dock and has worked well for me so far. I light with 3 daylight bulbs and have noticed a big improvement in both picture quality and score on CMON. Hope that helps a bit

Got my Sony T70 with 2GB memory card and all the usuall extras for £155, tripod was £30ish. Really useful camera both for mini photography and regular use
