I honestly looked for this thread with the express intention of nominating one of two people...I wasn\'t sure who, but as I read how many other people nominated Alex (alextheartist) who btw is a potentially awesome painter who needs refinement and another couple of birthdays in order to meet his own standards, anyway, because I couldn\'t vote him I vote (rather cheekily) for Boristhefrog.


She and her lovely hubby (Warhammergrimace) are two of the most dedicated mini painters I know. I frankly think that she has serious potential to take golden demons etc., with her eye for colour and light (check out her ninja goblin if it\'s on here or platoonbritannica if you want proof), the thing that is lacking from her game at the minute is refinement of her technique, particularly blending, and experience - she\'s not been at this too long. The same could be said of Jay her fellah, and it would be nice to see the DVD go to a home where two people would get the most out of it, and to two people who would doubtless pass it on to someone whom they then think worthy when they\'ve finished with it.

maybe that\'s what should happen...the person who gets it agrees to pass it on when they\'ve gotten all they can from it...

anyway, what I want everyone to take away from this rambling post is to vote for Boristhefrog. cool. right, go on then!

I vote Boris and Jay too. Two genuinly nice people (and not just cos they liked my minis irl), was great meeting them and they contribute greatly to the hobby (sheff irregs anyone??)

hestan too (although he needs a smack round the head and a brush duct taping to his hand )

I would have nominated hestan only he has already been picked so i\'ll go with gigantic dark. He\'s only scoring in the very high nines and with a little push he\'ll easily get into the low twelves (i don\'t know how that is possible but he will do it!).

But seriously I will nominate .................................................uberdark, real good painter on vehicles, just needs a little refining for 28mm

He\'s constantly challenging himself and I\'m really keen to keep up with him, only I find it hard to paint in any decent frequency. I need him to pop over more.
