Non Mini camera help question

This question is a little off base from the usual here, but I thought I\'d ask you guys because some of you have a lot of camera knowledge. Long story short:

My brother has started getting into ghost unting (what can I say... I paint little green men) and my mother decided she wants to give him a camera for christmas to use on his adventures. One thing that seemed advantageous for this was being able to take infrared pictures. So, I\'ve done a google search for infrared capable digital cameras, and I keep coming up with dozens of articles about modifying a camera to allow infrared. Do you guys know offhand any cameras that come out of the box with the capability to shoot in the infrared spectrum? I believe the price range we are looking at isn\'t much ... maybe 300 at most. Thank you!

Not aware of any of the digitals that allow that, but you can shoot 35mm film that is IR sensitive. (but then you have to buy film and pay for processing - and I am not sure about the processing of IR film)

Got a decent camera store in your area? Wolf cameras, etc? Not the one in the mall that has the part time high school girl working there, but the real camera store. Talk to them.
