non painting question - magic user feats

Does anyone know of a D&D magic user feat that increases the hit die of your dice such as bumping a 1d6 hit die damage to a 1d8 hit die damage. If so could you tell me where it is from and possibly type it back to me? Thanks everyone now back to your painting...

Smack the fighter with an enlarge spell. All of his weapons go up a size.

But hit dice are different than damage dice, so I am slightly confused (which is normal).

Try WotC\'s D&D site? (Official D&D site)

I don\'t know of one, I\'m a 26th level wizard/cleric so I think I may have stumbled across something of the sort

however if you give the magic user a level in fighter you get a d12 for a level...

I can\'t think of anything. Ask on the D&D forums, they would have an answer for you shortly. I will ask my rules lawyer on Saturday. He might know.

What I was trying to get at was like if there was a feat that I could take that when you throw a fireball the damage would be 1d8 per level of castor instead of 1d6 per castor level.

Hmmm...I can\'t seem to remember seeing a feat like that. That would seem awfully powerful, unless it were limited to a type of energy possibly.

Try this site for feats: Dandello Realms

Go to Character Creation, then feats. You can sort by all sorts of things, like Metamagic. Give it a shot. It\'s got TONS of stuff!

Good luck!

Becca - you\'re a 26th level wizard? Wow. What\'s it like playing a character that high level?
