How long do you wait for payment or contact emails, before leaving negative feedback or pulling out their dossier and sending out an \'intervention\" specialist?

Granddad!
..I email them about the 4th day & give them till the 7th unless I hear from them before that with a reasonable explanation
...On occasion I have left it till the NPB flag comes up in my \'sold, awaiting payment\' section

Question
Have they emailed payment arrangements?Or responded to any emails?
MO and checks can take weeks.

Are you sure your email is not being spam blocked?Send a whats up notice thru the questions area thru ebay contact by feedback area Internationals sometimes this is the only way to get thru esp Japan

Often if they bought on a Monday I hear from them on Friday (payday)
I have had a month pass and gotten payment ( one man lost his wallet one his job they made good though
I do not leave neg feedback.I withhold feedback till I know what is up. And often just put them on the blocked bidders list and move on. I find I have trouble with certain product lines so I do not stock them anymore ( Star wars rpg\'s for some reason)
I will let them know that the item is going back for sale in 72 hours if I do not get a response although I often do.If not I resell and block their future bids with no feed back just in case.

It does not happen often but I hope this helps.

I once had a what I thought non paying bidder, and he didn\'t respond to my reminder emails either. This surprised me a lot cause he had hundreds of only positive feedback notes. About two weeks after the auction ended he finally responded and it turned out he had had some trouble with his email account. He then paid me right away. My tip is to check the feedback of the buyer. If he/she only has positive feedback, it\'s probably not a non-bidder, but just some temporary problem.

I give about 2 weeks since the last contact, or one month total. Unless they tell me there will be a delay, I have no problem leaving neg feedback. They should have made sure they had money before they made a binding contract, and there is no excuse for not even sending an email.

All this changes if there is an unforseen difficulty (I got a guy who is active military, and was unable to respond for obvious reasons). I\'ve been there and have compassion. But it\'s easy to tell the diff between a flaky NPB and a responsible bidder with an unforseen problem.

Damn fool!!

I pity the man who doesn\'t pay pitynoman. He\'s a damn fool I tell ya :D

I am sure if the feedback is cool, then it will be ok. As mentioned earlier in this thread, wait a little longer. Just get into some funky zen pose, chanting your favourite mantra and chill bro

I\'ve once had to wait nearly three weeks. He paid after numerous emails, the last one saying I was leaving town for three weeks that weekend and that caused him to pay. Never heard anything of this guy again, no feedback, no e-mail, nothing...

And you know what? This was my first buyer ever :)

My advice is to always set a date in the item description...

Hey Wealon, I\'m in Level Six, too, we could swap miniatures, play Warhammer and have a drink together now and then. :D

oh, i\'m very patient normally, have waited up to six weeks for one guy, it depends on if they\'re staying in touch or not.

i think there is a special place in hell that holds both non paying bidders and snipers....lol:flame:
They\'re somewhat like traitors, right ? Then it\'d be the Ninth. I\'ll be watching them smugly from my own vantage point : the 6th ! (yes, that was a link)

Fun test! I\'m a high scorer! I\'m on Level 3 of hell! I\'ll be waving to you guys on level 6. :D:innocent:

I hope there is a pub cos I am going to be joining you there:D

City of Dis, has a certain ring to it:flip:
If there is a pub on the sixth level, do you think you could pour one down for me. I\'ll be one level down from you guys, on Level 7. :(

edit: Oops just took it again, and I appear to ahve moved up in the world (of Hell). I\'m now up on the second level! ;) Guess I\'ll be spending a lot of time on the Hellevator.

Oh that\'s just dandy...

I\'m a wrathful and gloomy heretic, Dauber\'s violent and Duende\'s a pig.

That should fit great into tooshy\'s sitcom:D

*EDIT* Oh come on dauber....Are you lustful or violent??? I must say, the level 7 rating didn\'t seem you somehow. Can\'t argue with level 2 though;)

Intersting thread this.
I have just started selling on e-bay and out of 14 sales on Monday I\'m waiting for three to cough up the dosh still, one of them has had 2 recent negative feed backs so this makes me wonder if I\'ll be lucky at all with her.

The others seem OK so I guess I shall give them till the weekend and see what happens, they have been sent invoices.
