non-permanent assembly of Scyrah's Myrmidons.

I've got 4 of these things to put together. As an aside, Scyrah's Retribution has a name, and it is Mold Line. In any case, these guys are all ball jointed meaning they can be posed, which is awesome. On the other hand, they have no structural integrity above the hips without glue/magnets/pinning. I'm completely new at assembling anything larger than a horse, so I was hoping someone could give me some suggestions on something temporary I could use to assemble these things for airbrushing and posing before I lock everything in permanently. They have massive plates, and it'll be far easier to paint if I keep it in at least some pieces, but I do want to get the smoothness that using an airbrush gives you.

Thanks for your time!

How about using some Blue Tack? Maybe the parts are too heavy, but it´s usually good to use them to hold things temporally... :)...

You can find Blue Tack on the Internet, if you are in the Uk at Poundlands (1 Pound stores...)...

Blu tack would be my first choice, too. If you can't find it, a wee tiny dab of superglue, just enough to hold it while painting, would be your next best bet. You'll want to pin/magnetise it before you touch it with an airbrush, mind you, as all that drilling would mangle your paint job if you did it afterwards. Maybe just do all the assembly first, then once it's together/magnetised you can do the painting?
