Almost done! I am getting to the stage now, where I am wondering where to put the next brush stroke.... must be getting close to completion.

It reminds me of handing in coursework or projects. That bit just before they go in where you find out that your mate has put in a whole section on the societal (I think I made that word up) impact on modern culture of the lowering of standards and abandonment of the victorian morals of..blah blah blah...and you completely forgot to even mention it. Or that most stressful of times after the exam when somebody asks what question you chose from section B.

I think the limited pallette works well.
I\'ve been trying to get over my painting block, managed to make a start, but its going slowly, but then I have 3 weeks to go until Oz GD.
Trouble is its taken me 3 weeks to do half of the mount for one of my two entries...

Actaully, I\'ve had a caffeine free day. So, no Red Bull.
Just finished the figure. First coat of varnish is on and I\'ll be Dullcoting it in a bit. I\'m very happy with the finished result. Not sure if he\'s got a shot at a demon or not. It\'s a fairly basic fig though it\'s got a scratch built cloak and some nice freehand on the shield. Well, if it doesn\'t place, I\'m still happy with it.
As for seeing it, it\'ll be uploaded to CMON on Monday along with my other two entries. Sorry to tease

12 hours before the opening of Gamesday UK and I\'ve finished my 2nd entry.
Yep that\'s right only 2 categories, this year. Left things too late as usual, and the 40K entry took the greatest amount of time.
Started painting again this morning at 10:45 and have worked right through with only a quick 10 minute break for something to eat. No Red Bull and only one cup of tea.
By the Way: Vallejo Golden Brown tastes of soap & toffee for those amongst us who are brush lickers.

Sorry, Got the shakes now, withdrawl symptoms from lack of Alcohol. Usually killed a bottle of wine (at least) by now. lol lol lol
