Hello again!
Found this guy in a toy shop. He\'s a Teen Titan by Bandai, think his name is \'Super D Cyborg\'. Anyway, repainted him, and here he is:

Yeah..a \'before\' would have been nice..

It\'s amazing what people can do with those \'cheap plastic toys\'. Some of the sculpts are pretty good.

One of my favourite figures in my collection is the \'Hulk\' Heroclix mini painted up by Steve Dean. Rockin!;)

i do beleive he\'s Super D and just happens to be a cyberg. Those are close to his original colors maybe a little different. i saw these guys at Toys R Us and thought about doing that, but i thought they moved? Was planing painting Robin from the same cartoon. That\'s not what they normally look like BTW, but every once in a while they\'ll do a quick anime style luagh or something... kinda lame, but the show\'s cool.

Oh, and i give him a 9. Original, clean painting, nice base (could be better). Is he posted?

I love the Teen Titans

When there\'s danger you know who to call
Teen Titans
From their tower they can see it all
Teen Titans
When theres evil on the attack
You can rest knowing they\'ve got your back
Cause in when the world is losing all control
Teen Titans

I began watching this show with my daughter. I actually love it. They have 5 inch figures for Robin, Cyborg and Beast Boy, but not for Raven and Starfire, who are the girls. I emailed Bandai to see if they were planning on doing the girls and they said \"No.\" How can I tell my daughter that!?!?

I was going to get her these tiny figures, but I decided against it because their paint jobs were just horrible. Now I think I\'ll reconsider and repaint them myself.

Great job by the way. 9.

ps. BTW, as several have already said, this is his \"laugh face.\" A homage to anime. Normally the art in this cartoon is typical comic book style. And Cyborg is the B.A. of the group.

Showing his ignorance

I have absolutely no idea what teen titans are but that is a realy \"cute\" paint job Mr Munkie.
I will now go and hang my head in shame and ask my son if he can tell me about teen titans.

I was hoping to find that in his gallery but no such luck. I really enjoy his painting style, and I\'ll bet that Hulk looks incredible.

But one day soon I am going to post some of the minis I haven\'t painted. I will do it either under 17, or 18\'s account and make it as plain as I can that I am the owner, not the author. Why? Well I just have some awesome minis in my collection that are not already on this site and just deserve to be shared...

Just as soon as I have finished the \'minagerie\' and started on the \'studio\':flip:

Never heard of Teen Titans? Great comic, blah cartoon. Much too animeish, just like the recent failed Masters of the Universe revival.

Only 20 years ago they outsold the namby-pamby X-Men every month. The comic also introduced my favorite comic villain of all time, Deathstroke the Terminator, who has recently become a *major* player in the DC Universe and looks to be the next \'hot\' comic character.

If DC doesn\'t manage to shoot themselves in the foot like they did with Lobo, at least. :)

Unfortunately, girl figures just don\'t sell well enough in \'standard\' lines to be worth the production cost.

However, there is at least one Starfire toy in the line:

Also, though it\'s not \'cartoon\' faithful, there are figures of both Starfire and Raven in the DC Direct figure line. They\'ve also just started a new Teen Titans line that may eventually include the two ladies (the first set contains Wonder Girl and Blackfire, the second will contain Ravager, Deathstroke\'s daughter).

Is that a standard 28mm base?
If so I want this guy for my army.
What army? That dude is worth making one around!

Me too...

Have to admit that I watch the cartoon too. Just finisihed watching an episode after dinner with my boys (9 and 10). I wanted to give them normal names, but their mother....lol

No that\'s not their names its their ages.
TT is actually a fairly decent cartoon. The boys seem to really like it. I could do without the Anime outtakes, but other than that the action is pretty good.

Cheers,
Grumb

This one is just so cute! I agree with some of the previous posts that a \"before\" pic would have been nice. It can\'t have been half as nice, even, as it is now, though. I think the white areas are particularly great. Very smoth!

Cheers,
-Anders
