(w/f safe) http://www.firstshowing.net/2008/07/17/must-watch-zack-snyders-watchmen-trailer-absolutely-stunning/

I was slightly disturbed to learn that the guy playing Rorschach was in both Bad News Bears and several episodes of The Love Boat. But hey... I guess Rorschach was supposed to be a little disturbing.

It really looks like they may do a good job on this one.

I think it looks pretty good.
But, then again, trailers are designed to make things look good. We can only hope, really, that it will live up to our expectations.

^^ LOL. It won\'t be just what we want, Art. But that would be impossible, at least out of Hollywood. That movie would be six hours long and NC-17 rated.

It\'s kinda interesting. Alan Moore (partially) ushered in the \"Iron Age\" of comics when he penned this story. I\'m not and never was much of a comic buff, but when this came out I was sucked into the whole graphic novel world. He really tested the idea of the super \'hero\' as a genre. He questioned their methods and motivations and as a result, we have a couple decades-worth of comics that are filled with more tragically flawed heros, questionable methods, and adult content.

Personally, I\'d thank the guy. However, this story and much of the work that it inspired, definitely sucked a lot of the hope out of stories comic book artists traditionally told.

I hope they do that justice and don\'t sugar coat it. Heaven forbid they insert some limp love triangle or something lame like that!
