Nurgle Marauder Horsemen

Hey Everyone,

I am painting what seems to be an entire army for someone as a commission. As soon as I mail out the minis I have finished I get sent more stuff to work on. Surprisingly enough I am not sick of painting the same colors over and over. Anyways these are some pretty bad photos but they are the only ones I took and I figured I would share them. Any comments or suggestions are welcome since they will definitely help me paint the next part of this commission. Thanks!

Realy nice painting there. The first horse in particular looks so life-like.

And having the patience to paint an army to this standard is...out of my league.

Could you treat us to some larger pics on your next post?

I know the old skool does not mean that the painting is bad, it is just a style. However if there came a time when I did not wish to paint old skool stuff what are some suggestions to paint something that is not old skool?

One only problem with them i\'m not the biggest fan of the yellow ish looking skin, though not sure if it is finished or not, say may look better later on

I really like them... but are nurgle weapons supposed to be completely green, or are they supposed to be green-laquered metal? If it\'s a green paint job, then I would expect to see the real metal peeking through along the whetted edge of the blade, at the nicks in the armor, stuff like that.

The weapons were just meant to have a green brown glaze with yellow green stains. Not meant to be green weapons. The color was just meant to help harmonize the entire mini. Also I thought yellowish skin would make them look sickly but it did not quite work out.

a metallic highlight on the weapons, and a purple wash on the flesh may do the job...

they look cool, no doubt...
neatness is the main factor in a tabletop army that will stand out...

if you are going for new skool style nurgley stuff, i would suggest rust and pigments and oozing bits. it\'s hard to put my finger on but the newer stuff is, dare i say it, more realistic. it looks grimier

and dude, these fellas look sweeeeeeeet. super smooth
