Nurgle Marauder Skin color

Hey everyone,

What colors would work well for the skin of nurgle marauders?

Basecoat, highlights, and shadows please.

Well this is one of those not so helpful replies, but...

Please, please, don\'t do the green tinted skin choice! I\'ve seen a million Nurgle Marauders with the pale green \"sick\" look and I hate it. It just doesn\'t look good at all IMHO, no matter the skill involved....

Personally I think you\'ve got the brush skills to do anything you want, but I would go for a good variety of greyish and purplish skin tones. DragonsReach mentioned in another thread that using grey in skin tones creates a really aged feel to the skin which I feel might look a little better than the standard green look.

So there\'s no help from me, only a request and an opinion from the peanut gallery.

I appreciate the vow of confidence but I already started painting my minis with some flesh tones mixed with a bit of vomit brown and camo green thrown in

Although I guess I could shade the mini with some purpley colors.

The minis are looking ok. I do not know if the minis are ok because I have not painted in a while or because marauders are crappy minis... maybe both. I need to get the motivation to paint more.

Throw a pic up!

I\'m sure it\'ll look fine.... It\'s just that everybody and their dog (me too, for my sins) seems to just have maruaders painted green with a little flesh highlights...

I\'m a huge nurgle fan (check out the dope avatar) and I\'d like to see your take on them.

Try Charadon Granite (?sp) as a base for the skin and GW washes for tonal values.
Quick and easy sickly skin tones.
